Mate Recovered – Paranormal Sci-Fi Alien Romance
Should an Ajnara alien warrior ignore his orders to protect and rescue a human female from certain death?
Addison loves her residency training at the local hospital, even though she’s exhausted from finishing up her undergraduate program and moving into medical school. So when the world falls into an apocalypse, it’s not surprising she ends up stranded there and treating some Zombie Affliction Contagion infected at her hospital.
Unfortunately, the government steps in, stripping her of her phone and trapping her in the hospital’s basement to help work on a cure. After a few days, she knows she needs to escape and figure out how to get back to her mom and little sister to make sure they’ve survived. When she last talked to her thirteen-year-old sibling, she was low on supplies, hiding from the infected in their childhood home. But how can she escape the military guarded exits and or even get through the hospital’s quarantine procedures on each floor?
When Addison breaks out, she finds the roads clogged with cars, and she’s trapped by infected zombie-like people determined to kill her.
Her life becomes a struggle to survive. She’s rescued, trapped, and eventually shot as she fights to protect the uninfected she comes into contact with on her journey. Unwilling to trust anyone but family, she fights to get back home, convinced everyone else will fail or abandon her just like her father did years before.
Can she trust a new man… an actual alien in her life, since her skepticism is so ingrained? Alerik refuses to stop looking for Riley’s sister, Addy. He rescued the young female from a school where she was living with her teacher, Victoria Blaine. When Riley passes him her locket containing Addy’s picture, he knows there’s something unusual about her. Could she be his fated mate?
After searching the last locations Riley said her sister should be, he’s left with only one option. Removing his protective helmet, he reaches out with his third eye, searching for his Upadana Link.
Immediately, he senses his Link’s location and fear, spurring him into action. But will it be Riley’s sister as he suspects?
Can he convince her to trust him?
And will his superiors allow him to perform the traditional ceremony with his recovering Upadana Link?
